Overview
Pacific NW Properties needed marketing that could serve two distinct audiences: prospective tenants searching for commercial space and nearly 500 existing businesses already leasing within the portfolio. I developed an integrated marketing system supporting both acquisition and retention through property marketing, broker outreach, video production, photography, digital content, email marketing and tenant engagement. The goal was to make available properties more visible while building a commercial real estate brand known for strong relationships long after a lease was signed.

Audience Insight
Commercial real estate decisions may begin with square footage, location and specifications, while relationships influence what happens next. Prospective tenants need to imagine their business succeeding in a space. Existing tenants need to feel that the relationship continues after the lease is signed. That created two connected marketing opportunities: present properties in ways that helped people envision their future there, and create ongoing experiences that made current tenants feel valued.
Strategy
B2B Acquisition + Relationship Marketing
I built a marketing system designed to support the full tenant relationship, from property discovery and broker outreach through leasing and ongoing engagement.
-
Commercial property branding and storytelling
-
Professional photography, video and Matterport tours
-
Leasing brochures, broker emails and website content
-
Broker relationship development
-
Tenant spotlight storytelling
-
Email and social content
-
Tenant appreciation campaigns and branded experiences
-
Cross-channel creative production
Execution
I independently produced and coordinated marketing across a wide range of channels, often taking projects from initial idea through finished deliverable. My work included copywriting, graphic design, photography, video production, email marketing, print collateral, digital content and property presentations.
For available spaces, I developed professional marketing materials and built a broker outreach network reaching more than 340 commercial real estate professionals. Property storytelling combined practical leasing information with photography, video and visual presentation designed to help prospective tenants better understand each space.
For existing tenants, I developed ongoing engagement campaigns including tenant spotlights, the Olympic Gold Medal Awards, March Madness competitions and documentary-style tenant videos. These programs gave businesses within the portfolio opportunities to be recognized and helped turn a traditional landlord relationship into an active business community.

Key Takeaway
The customer relationship doesn't end when the contract is signed. Commercial real estate taught me how closely acquisition and retention are connected. Strong property marketing can create interest and leasing momentum, while thoughtful relationship marketing gives businesses reasons to feel valued long after they move in.

Whether I was producing a leasing video, developing broker outreach or surprising tenants with Olympic medals, the goal was the same: create an experience people remember and a relationship worth continuing.

That principle extends far beyond real estate. Strong brands are built not only by attracting customers, but by continuing to earn their loyalty.
